Community Relations Policy

Pine Point Mining Limited believes in developing mutually beneficial relationships with Indigenous and local communities, and it is an important part of our core values. We understand the importance of respectfully maintaining and continuously improving Indigenous and community engagement.

PPML commits to:

  • Maintaining ongoing dialogue and respectful relationships with Indigenous and other local communities through the sharing of information and working collaboratively on responding to concerns.
  • Ensuring that employees and subcontractors interact with Indigenous and local communities, organizations, groups and individuals with respect and integrity through raising awareness and acceptance of cultural differences as well as fostering diversity and inclusion in our workplaces.
  • Developing policies and procedures that measure and keep track of our performance when it comes to community relationships, documenting concerns and responses, and mutually developing community relationship performance targets.
